During my time as an undergraduate student at Queen’s I have explored many different veins of psychology, and developed a keen interest in research that combines aspects of neuroscience with a clinical focus. Specifically, in the context of my current project for Dr. Poppenk, I am interested in analyzing hippocampal data to look for potential structural markers of Parkinson’s disease. In addition to my work in the PopMem Lab this term, I will also be working as a volunteer research assistant in the Sexual Health Research Lab and as a member of the Psychology Department Student Council. Outside of school, my interests include baking, playing ukulele, and trying to talk to my dog over FaceTime.
